About Us

Together, we can end the cycle of poverty in our community.

Epic Hope stands as a crucial link between the local church's missional endeavors and the continued development of the wider community. We recognize the pivotal role that the church plays in catalyzing genuine transformation within our community. However, we also acknowledge that addressing these challenges requires a collaborative approach. It demands unity among churches, aligned nonprofits, foundations, and local small businesses to see significant and lasting change. By acting as a conduit for people, education, and resources, we aim to make significant strides in combating intergenerational poverty and restoring families, while offering hope and opportunity to those most in need.

It all began while scrambling some eggs…

Judy Jackson and Deb Hoffman, dedicated members of Spirit Life Church in Tulsa, OK, recount how an unexpected occurrence sparked a vision for their community, ultimately giving rise to what is now known as Epic Hope!

Vision

Our vision is to see Tulsa's Hope Valley become a vibrant community where intergenerational poverty is eradicated, families are restored, and every resident, regardless of their background, experiences renewal, opportunity, and lasting hope.

Mission:

Through localized, community-driven initiatives, we work to see poverty eradicated, families restored, and hope given.

“Central to our philosophy is the understanding that authentic change begins with localized action. When community members unite, they gain insight into the distinct challenges faced by their neighbors, enabling the creation of tailored and empathetic solutions. While federal and state resources provide a foundation, it is the grassroots, community-led endeavors that genuinely enrich lives.”
